Doctoral Program

Title Advanced Presentation in Environmental Sciences and Technology
Instructors All faculty members of Department of Environmental Sciences and Technology
Course Objectives Students will be equipped with a broad perspective and a high sense of ethics, develop the ability to independently conduct sophisticated studies and find creative solutions.
Description and program The course deals with the preservation, creation, monitoring and control of a green environment, specifically research and technology development for controlling and managing green spaces to maintain sustainable interaction between human activities and elements of the natural environment, dynamics of the environment and healthy ecosystems, as well as the development of green space technology and ecological design techniques for preserving and creating a sound urban area and green environment, and development of green space management methods. Students are required to make a presentation on their study design and interim results, and will discuss the status, significance and development of their study with other students and the instructor.

Course Objectives Students will be able to conduct a study and project that covers not only environmental science and technology, but also broader areas in a planned manner. They will also develop skills for effective communication and presentation and working as an international environmental planner
Description and program Students will conduct document and resource research on the monitoring, control, preservation and creation of a green environment, specifically technology development for controlling and managing green space to maintain sustainable interaction between human activities and elements of nature, dynamics of the environment and healthy ecosystems, green space technologies and ecological design techniques for preserving and creating a healthy urban area and green environment, and green space management technology. They will be required to investigate the latest research trends based on research, make an oral summary, and discuss it with the instructor.

Title Advanced Research Project in Environmental Sciences and Technology
Instructors All faculty members of Department of Environmental Sciences and Technology
Course Objectives Students will develop the ability to solve problems innovatively so that they may strive to become researchers or high-level specialists in research and technology development for green measurement and assessment approaches for preserving and creating ecologically sound urban areas and green environments, as well as the preservation, planning, site design and management of green space.
Description and program Students will acquire highly professional knowledge for planning, conducting, evaluating and summarizing research. This will include a variety of themes related to research on and technology development for monitoring and control of a green environment, and preservation and creation of green space, including green control and management for maintaining sustainable interaction between human activities and elements of the natural environment, dynamics of the environment and healthy ecosystems, green space technology and ecological design techniques for preserving and creating a sound urban area and green environment, and green management methods. Students will work in small groups, and develop a specific study and research plan, carry out an experiment and field research, analyze their data, and consider the results through discussion with the instructor. They will submit their paper to a journal, and make a presentation on their study, along with completing their doctoral thesis.
